Come, be a part of our unique experience, and treat your senses to the spectacular panorama of the sprawling valley, the majestic Julian Alps, and the formidable Mt. Triglav. Zipline Dolinka tour isn’t just an activity – it’s one of the “5 best things you can do at Lake Bled.” Let your spirit soar while basking in the beauty that envelops you. Your adventure awaits.

The zipline tour

The adventure starts at the meeting point at “Cesta svobode 1”, near Bus station Bled. When you arrive, you’ll meet your guides and get kitted out with the equipment (helmet, fully equipped safety harness with a pulley). In addition, the group will take a ten minute ride to the starting point above the Sava Dolinka river. Firstly you will be shown, how to use the equipment and do a 20-meter test ride. Then the real adventure begins!

To summarise: in 2.5 hours, you’ll ride seven different zip line cables that bring you down the whole valley. Not less than six of the zip lines take you right across the Dolinka river and the views are breathtaking! Again and again, short walks across the forest and meadows brings us out to the next zip line wire. In contrast to wild wire descents, here you’ll have the chance to relax and enjoy the pristine nature around you. After all, our guides are all local to the area and proud to share their wealth of knowledge with you.

The zipline in a protected area

Above all, our aim is to give visitors an exciting adventure as well as making them aware of the environmental values at the same time.

Nevertheless, as you zoom through the tree-tops you’ll see the river flow through forests and wetlands and how we have created the zip line path with minimal disruption to the environment. To point out, the idea of a natural coexistence is important to us and we hope we can introduce visitors to support sustainable thinking.

In conclusion, by combining these elements we believe we have created a unique experience through which visitors can embark on a thrilling zip lining ride and also learn more about the protected area that surrounds them.

Uncover the wonders of the Dolinka River Valley

Experience the magic of our pristine spring water, journeying through the relics of an ancient lake steeped in limestone deposits like travertine. This porous stone serves as a bustling habitat for hundreds of unique lifeforms, orchestrating a symphony of nature that manifests as striking, golden-yellow cascades, up to ten meters long. These radiant rocks, centuries old and as delicate as lace, command reverence; a single misstep could spell their undoing.

Welcome to Brje, the local word for ‘wetland’, a protected natural monument flourishing with rare and captivating plant life. Nestled at the base of a gentle slope, you’ll discover a thriving community of sawgrass. Further into the unstable, moist substrate, the elusive fen orchid takes root, reveling in these optimal growth conditions. This exceptional biodiversity turns Brje into a vibrant ecosystem, eagerly awaiting your respectful exploration.

Here, we value the synergy of nature and preservation, providing an unforgettable and enriching experience that we’re eager for you to explore. Discover the beauty of a natural wonder, preserved for centuries and enriched with a rich ecosystem. Step into our world of living heritage, where the past, present, and future of nature intertwine.
